Teachers participating in this one-day professional development will be introduced to resources focused on integrating cyber and computer science into the classroom. During this workshop, teachers will receive hands-on training and curricula that builds a strong cyber foundation for high school students. Subject matter experts and master teachers will introduce cyber and computer science through robotics, programming, electricity, networking, and elements of liberal arts. In addition, teachers will learn about the opportunities, threats, responsibilities, and legal constraints associated with operating in cyberspace.
This Computer Science workshop is led by the National Integrated Cyber Education Research Center (NICERC), an academic division of the Cyber Innovation Center. NICERC provides hands-on professional development, curricula, programs, and competitions to engage students in STEM disciplines.
