As the cyber and tech industry continues to grow, so does the need for a workforce to fill it. At NICERC, we believe that K-12 is a powerful place to introduce cyber, STEM, and computer science skills in order to fill the workforce gap.
Cyber Education Discovery Forum is a three-day professional development event for K-12 educators seeking to bring 21st-century skills and career awareness into their classrooms. Sessions include hands-on projects led by subject matter experts, experience sharing between peers, and free resources aimed at arming teachers with the tools to set their students up for success. Attendees will leave inspired by new content, strategies, and perspective!
More event details and registration will be available February, 2020.

I like doing and learning the activities that I will be teaching in the class. I feel comfortable leaving this conference and immediately implementing the curriculum in my class room. The staff is amazing. Great Venue!!
It was a great conference! I really learned a lot and feel as an administrator now I can help teachers to implement in their classrooms.
All of the presenters were knowledgeable and brought enthusiasm to their presentations. I walked away with so many ideas and ways I can implement them into my classroom and at our school. I really appreciate all of the curriculum that was shared and how easy it is to access and use. I feel like I’ve been inspired and see how important and effective it is to use the EDP and Computational Thinking on a regular basis. I want to build the framework for both at the beginning of the year with my students and use them both all throughout the year with them. I am so thankful for all of the helpful methods and materials CEDF presented.
[The CEDF] was great! I’m new to cyber education and I feel much better about going forward. Lots of good information to take back to my district.
