Building on lessons learned in Cyber Literacy, Cyber Literacy II provides students the opportunity to explore systems engineering within a liberal arts framework. With Cyber Literacy II students learn how signals can propagate through infrared, learn how accelerometers work as well as how basic hacks are performed. The Cyber Literacy II Supply Kit provides a breadboard, sensors, and components needed to build a range of circuits used in the Cyber Literacy II curriculum.
NICERC recommends that schools purchase one Cyber Literacy II kit per Boe-Bot team in the classroom.
The NICERC Shield Bot with Arduino Kit is used in NICERC’s Cyber Literacy curricula. This kit is only available for NICERC educators and is designed exclusively for NICERC curriculum.
A fully hands-on robotics kit provides students opportunities to create meaningful projects built around the Arduino microcontroller platform. The Shield-Bot with Arduino is a great learning platform for exploring the world of cyber, electronics, and C-style programming.
